I grew up in the Congo as a missionary kid and went to University without finishing high school. I’ve been a government, military and Fortune 500 consultant/contractor and worked extensively in technology and also in film/TV. (I was a judge for the Gemini Awards, Canada’s version of the Emmy’s.) I moved to the area a year ago after spending ten years building a vacation rental company in Costa Rica that serves up to 15,000 guests per year. (Anyone who stays at Pecan Place gets awarded a 10% discount for a stay in Costa Rica! 🙂 I’m a published poet/author, ex-combat teacher, I love to cook and live life to the fullest. I came up here to get a site built for my CR company, ended up seeing how much development was going on here and decided to stay! Since then I’ve built a wonderful life with Sweetheart and Super Dog here. We’ve applied everything that we’ve learned hosting guests over the last dozen years to making Pecan Place the sort of relaxing, welcoming home away from home that you will enjoy coming back to.
